Privacy notice.
This notice explains how Human Relay, Inc. (“HumanRelay”, “we”) handles personal data when you visit humanrelay.com, contact us, or fill in one of our forms on LinkedIn.
It does not cover data we capture or process for customers and partners under contract. Those terms are set out in the relevant agreements and consent forms.
Who we are
Human Relay, Inc. is a Delaware corporation and is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us about anything in this notice at hello@humanrelay.com.
What we collect
- LinkedIn lead forms. If you submit one of our forms on LinkedIn, LinkedIn passes us the details on the form, such as your name, work email, company and job title.
- Emails you send us. Your message and the contact details in it.
- Visits to our website. We do not set cookies or use analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver and secure the site. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and code from jsDelivr, so those services also receive your IP address.
How we use it
- To reply to you and discuss whether our services fit your needs.
- To provide services you ask for and manage our business relationship with you.
- To send occasional updates about HumanRelay that are relevant to your work. You can opt out at any time by replying or emailing us.
- To keep our website and systems secure.
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and developing business relationships, or on your consent where we ask for it.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting and email, with professional advisers, or where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
Where it is processed
We are based in the United States and have offices in London, Bengaluru and Shanghai. Your data may be processed in those countries and others where our providers operate. Where the law requires safeguards for these transfers, we use them.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and lead details while we are in contact with you and for up to two years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@humanrelay.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
